A website needs attention after launch. Our managed hosting and care service brings the agreed hosting administration, WordPress maintenance and support together through DABA L-GHDA. Your selected plan sets out the maintenance and support provided, which can include:

  • WordPress, theme and plugin updates, with checks of the main website functions
  • Scheduled backups and restoration checks
  • Availability monitoring and investigation of reported website issues
  • Access reviews and agreed security checks
  • An agreed allowance for small changes to existing content
  • A concise report of completed maintenance, backup status and outstanding recommendations

The plan specifies support hours, initial response times, backup retention and any included content changes.

What managed hosting and website care cover, what your service plan specifies, and what stays outside it.

Hosting managed through infrastructure partners

We arrange and administer website hosting through infrastructure providers selected for the project. We coordinate the hosting setup, domain connection and HTTPS certificate, and act as your contact for the services we manage.

The hosting location and any relevant external providers are identified in your service documentation.

What your service plan specifies

The plan specifies support hours, initial response times, backup retention and any included content changes. Automated monitoring and scheduled tasks support this work; technical issues and significant changes receive human review.

What stays outside the plan

New pages, major changes and extra features receive a separate scope and quotation. Domain renewals are tracked separately from hosting, and business email and form-delivery services are identified separately in the proposal.

Managed hosting
Hosting that we arrange and administer for you, instead of you dealing with the hosting provider yourself.
Update
A new version of WordPress, the theme or a plugin, often fixing faults or security issues. We check the main website functions after updating.
Backup
A copy of your website files and database from which the website can be restored.
Restoration check
A test that a backup can actually be restored — a backup that cannot be restored is of little use.
Backup retention
How long backups are kept before the oldest are removed. Your plan states the period.
Availability monitoring
An automated check that your website is reachable, so an outage is noticed and investigated.

Your domain is registered in your name, and client-owned email, analytics and other business accounts remain under your control. We document access and provide the agreed files, database export and service information for a future handover or move.

You provide the agreed business information, text and authorised images. We prepare a private design preview and collect consolidated feedback within the agreed revision rounds.

Build and test

We build the approved website and test its mobile display, navigation, forms and HTTPS. Additional features receive the checks defined for their scope.

Approve and launch

You approve the final website before publication. We carry out the launch, verify the main functions and provide the agreed access, guidance and training.

Maintain and develop

If you select a care plan, we manage the agreed ongoing tasks and support. New pages, major changes and extra features receive a separate scope and quotation.
